Terms of Service

Last updated 25 July 2026

These terms cover the OdysseyRoute travel guide — what you get, how refunds work, and how the guide may be used. Buying it means you accept them.

1. Who we are

OdysseyRoute is an independent project, built and run by a solo developer. There is no company behind it and no support team — just one person who answers the email. You can reach us at support@cinema-travel.com.

2. Who you are buying from

Your purchase is sold and processed by Creem, which acts as Merchant of Record. That means Creem — not us — is the legal seller for the transaction: Creem appears on your card statement and invoice, and Creem calculates, collects and remits any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies where you live.

Creem’s own buyer terms therefore govern the payment transaction itself, and are published at creem.io/buyer-terms. What we are responsible for is the guide you receive, the free updates, and the support and refund promises set out below.

3. What you are buying

A digital travel guide, delivered as a PDF. It is a one-off purchase, not a subscription — you are charged once and nothing recurs.

The guide is an independent work of travel research. It is not an official product of, and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by, any film studio, production company, or rights holder.

4. Price and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay, and the displayed price is the price charged. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are, and is handled by Creem as described above.

Payment happens on Creem’s own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details.

5. Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate. Once your payment clears, the guide is emailed to the address you entered at checkout, together with your receipt.

If it has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then email us — we will re-send it.

6. Free updates

You get free updates to your guide for one year from purchase. When we refresh dates, ferries, hotels or access notes, the current version is re-sent to the email address you bought with.

7. Refunds

We offer a 30-day, no-questions money-back guarantee. If the guide is not useful to you, email us within 30 days of purchase — from the address you bought with, or simply reply to your receipt — and we will arrange a full refund.

You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to return or delete anything. Because Creem is the merchant of record, the refund is issued through Creem and returns to your original payment method.

For consumers in the EU, EEA and UK: the statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content is normally lost once delivery begins with your consent. Our 30-day guarantee is granted voluntarily, is more generous than that statutory minimum, and applies in addition to — not instead of — any rights you have under consumer law.

8. How you may use the guide

The guide is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may read it, print it, and keep copies for yourself.

You may not resell it, republish it, share it publicly, or redistribute it in whole or in substantial part. We keep all intellectual property rights in the guide.

9. Travel information — please read

The guide describes real, publicly accessible places, researched carefully and checked before publication. But travel conditions change constantly and outside our control: access can close, ferries and opening hours change, weather turns, prices move, and some locations involve genuine physical risk such as cliffs, tides and remote terrain.

The guide is reference material, not professional travel, safety, or financial advice. Verify current conditions, access rules and safety information yourself before you travel, and use your own judgement on the ground. You travel at your own risk.

The guide links to third-party sites for bookings and information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, prices, or availability.

10. Liability

We provide the guide with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for travel decisions you make based on the guide.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer protections you have where you live. Those rights always apply, and where anything here conflicts with them, they win.

Because Creem is the seller of record, claims about the transaction — payment, tax, chargebacks — can also be raised with Creem directly under their buyer terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your purchase is the one published when you bought, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
